What a gorgeous necklace for almost no money. This is my favorite shade of blue. I cannot imagine threading all those TEENY TINY beads! Fidgety work makes me very unsettled. For now, I am going to credit the necklace as being a creation from India. The necklace has a surprising amount of weight to it.
Summertime can hurry up and arrive!
Thanks for looking at my necklace.
Bonnie
Yes val, it certainly does! All that glass makes the necklace very cold, too. I normally would not buy these sorts of necklaces, but this one was too pretty to pass up.
I would love threading all these beads on. Very therapeutic. Fab.
Wandlessfairy - you are a better person than I. I hate doing fiddly stuff. No patience, lol!
Love this and that wonderful color. No... I could not thread the beads!
Looks African IMHO
WOW!!!! I have done NA beadwork myself and I can tell you, your statement of making you unstable is on point! This is amazing, and must be really heavy. I bet it looks stunning on you!
I want to tell you too that I have made a statement on the comment my friend said about the jewelry because you do so much for everyone and the last thing we want to do is give wrong info...I'll just tell you here, his answer didn't set well with me all night in fact was bothering me. So I'm going to go further to find the answer. If I run into a wall over this, I may have to register myself with the Cherokee Nation, which would actually be a good thing for me and something I should have done years ago and will be accepted well and given a correct answer. It may take awhile but now I'm on a mission. I'm crossing my fingers to be able to make the time to do this. xoxo Bonnie!
Or maybe it is from Asia:

It says it's from India, but the so called naga necklaces are often attributed to Nepal or Tibet
shareurpassion - looking forward to the conclusion of the Navajo mystery!
martika has found it.....thanks!!!! Mine is in much better condition, I am pleased to say.
Now THAT is a necklace Bonnie! I agree with you, the blue is striking! I bet it weighs alot huh?
Rick55 - it is rather heavy! :-)))))
Wow, what a piece! I like it a lot. I got something of a very similar design, from Togo.
