Three Victorian art glass tulip vases, possibly by Richardsons. All of them contain uranium. They show some variations in terms of size & shape. Soon I will be getting three more of them - a pair in pale mauve & green, & one in clear & green.
these are very lovely!!
A gorgeous garden of blooms!

Stunning collection !!! :)
Many thanks SEAN68, racer4four, vetraio50, sklo42 & ozmarty for your nice comments. I love the idea of a glass garden! So much Victorian & Art Nouveau glass has a floral inspiration. These are so hard to find, I've been searching for years to get some, & these have all come in the last year. The tallest one with the ruby top was from Australian eBay but the others were both from the UK, as are the other 3 that will soon be on their way. I also have one broken one which was from New Zealand. I saw it on a holiday there in 2007, through the window of a shop which was closed. Went back the next day but the shop was still shut. Later that year, without my knowledge, my partner got in touch with the shop owner & bought it as a Christmas gift for me. Sadly, the seller was totally clueless as to how to pack glass & sent it in only a padded bag...you can imagine the result. If only the shop had been open when I was there, so I could have bought it & carried it home safely in my handbag! I successfully brought a whole carry on bag full of glass home from a trip to England in 2003...that haul included a pair of 30 cm tall hand vases, a uranium thorn vase, a Burmese epergne trumpet, a Welz honeycomb spatter mini jug & basin set & a Peloton vase on a silver stand!
Thanks also, martika!
I love all three Lace, but the red top one is a superstar!
These are AMAZING-- had to bump them back to the top with a comment!
