Hello, all! I'm in some desperate need of expert help. My fiancé owns a his own transmission and auto services shop. He has literally started from the ground up, and is doing well for himself now. With that being said, he is the type of guy who, when he wants something, he buys it. You can imagine, it makes it extremely difficult to buy anything for him. However, when we were going through pictures, he showed me THIS picture, and informed me that that little pedal car was the beginning of his passion for cars. Our wedding is this year, and I thought, what better wedding present from his bride, than the one thing he hasn't been able to obtain? The problem? I have no idea what car this is, or where I could possibly find one? He has told me that this is basically just a shell of a VW rabbit? Any help to give my man back his childhood, would be most appreciated!! Thank you!!

Hi I know it's not much to go on but there is a Company in Italy called
      "TT Toys Toys
Search Wikapieda if you have that over there.
They started in the mid 70's I think producing Vacuum Molded pedal car body's on light weight metal frames.
These cars were very flimsy so did not last long.
The car in your picture is very similar mainly in the Windshield area to some I have and yes I will post some pictures when I can.
The company is still going and still making plastic pedal cars.
I have recently aquired 4 from different places here in the Uk
      but alas no VolksWagon's.
      Graham.
