This doll was my mom's so guess it comes from the 30's. From what I understand she is made from composite except her arms are wood. Her left hand is missing and she has definite observable wear on cheeks, back of legs, toes, heels, and top of "curls". The heart says DES copyright by FLEISCHER STUDIOS.
Do you know more about her? I am curious to what she may have been dressed in when New?

This is like your doll but I can not say these are original clothes for sure . Yours is a less common style to find . She is made of composition and wood . She is wonderful ! Very lucky to have her and I would leave her without clothes to display the construction of her body .
This could be a original dress since her name is on it :-)

Thanks for your comment....I would love if that photo was her original dress....it is so sweet-nothing like I would think she'd ever wear!
Around 1932 there were 3 of these by Cameo Co like yours 2 in molded clothes one in red and one in green and one nude . So without much documentation on nude version I agree the last dress doesn't seem like her style I guess she could be dressed anyway a person wanted ?
Interesting!
