    This cutter is 6.5 inches long, leather ? Upholstery ? Almost looks as if it may have been "self " adjusting....The rust is quite heavy, I do not see any wrighting/ numbers anywhere.....any thoughts on it appreciated ????Cathy

      Can opener. The hinged plate should move freely. The point is plunged into the can's lid at the rim and the handle in pried back (cutting upward), then slid forward and repeat.
