You should show the page with the publication date, and publisher. It's the only way to know

I have the 3 volumes The Works of Charles Dickens Illustrated, published in 1876 by P. F. Collier. Unabridged edition. These are large 10 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 2 1/2 heavy books with brown hardboard covers and gold gilt edging on the pages. 2 of the volumes are a bit worn around the edges of the covers and along the spine. The 3rd has worn edges but the spine is really shabby. The pages and illustrations are all fine, no tears, etc. The illustrations are beautiful and some still have the protective tissue inserts. I would like to know their value also. I hope this helps in identifying yours.
