    These baskets were in a trash bin, and I opted to commandeer them! I have been told by one individual they are not Native American. I have other photos but can only upload four, so please let me know if you have any idea about these baskets and where they came from!

      The one with the pattern is African, from Botswana.

      The middle one is likely African, also. It appears to be made with palm fiber. I would agree that they are not Native American, but I can't tell from the photo where the other two may be from.

      Thank you very much for your help. I find it fascinating that these baskets ended up in Houston in a dumpster! I've posted better photos of the other two in the hopes that the photos make these easier to identify! The link is below!

      The coiled basket measures 3 x 12.
