Does anybody know about that French brand Poupee Progres? Is there a history behind it? My guess these dolls are from 1930-1940?

I need close up of face and look at back of her neck for any markings and post them ok . I can't see her good enough :-)
I had to cut the strings. Both dolls are still attached to the original boxes..
It says made in Germany... so much for french "poupee"
I updated the pictures. please see new posted pictures.
I thought they were German and they are dressed in French style clothes , the unknown company that made them likely sold them to France to sell as tourist dolls to bring back home after a trip there . Very nice !
