Hello, I'm studying Chinese. I'm not fluent. But it looks like there is something wrong here. The characters are a mirror image of what they should be. I have a feeling, if the rice paper is thin the page is framed back to front, so we're reading it through the back. I can't make much out of it like this. I'm pretty sure three characters say something about "real man" or "true man" (da zhangfu). Maybe some one else can help :-)
Hi, You are correct, it appears that the paper is placed into the frame backwards. The framing is not the type you can open unfortunately. Someone would almost have to stand in front of a mirror to translate it. Thank you for taking a look at it for me!
