Hi Everyone.
I am very pleased to say that the bathroom reno is finished, I have cleaned, dusted, polished, vacuumed, rearranged, sorted every room in the house, donated, tried to find a small old dog to adopt......you name it I have done everything inside......so now I have time to post this little treasure!!
I really don't have any idea about it......so will tell you what I see.
Measures 2 1/2 inches high x 2 1/4 inches long.
Appears to be metal and weighs 61 grams.
Does not attract a magnet.
Is carrying "pack style" 2 "Gold" Nuggets
I think someone has tried to clean this as one side of the base is silver looking......hope you can see that in the picture.
The underneath of the base has some blue/green verdigris.
There is only one that research turned up that is anywhere remotely like it so I will put the link in comments.
I really love this......hope you do too and look forward to hearing your thoughts, comments or ideas. Thanks Judy
This is the link to what I found.....ignore that is says brooch!

Looking at the "pack" on mama, it looks all wrong. Looks like something somebody did at home. I think they are supposed to stand on their own without the base.
But again, what do I know?
On their own, they are really cute!
:-)))))))
Hi Bonnie, thanks I have to agree the packs do look "not quite right", although the wire holding them certainly seems to have age to it.
I can't see any indication with the legs and the base to think that the LLamas should not be on the base.......but this is a whole new kettle of fish collecting for me LOL.:)
I know nussing, but here's my two cents worth of thought:
Some unlikely dreamer traveled to Ballarat in the hope of a gold find, but all they found was a tourist piece from the Andes, dropped by a lady as she was on her way to the Grampians for a sightseeing tour. Disconsolate, our dreamer found some fencing wire and wired some unlikely ersatz nuggets to the larger animal, hoping for some Andean luck to replicate his vision.
LOL Karen.......you were probably really good at making up "once upon a time" stories!!!
Thanks, I did ask for thoughts didn't I!!! :))
