I found this beauty yesterday at antique market here in southern Ontario. Usually, I only buy bargains but my husband treated me to this little indulgence, and based on what I saw on e-bay, he did rather well.
The sash pin has a beautiful amethyst glass center stone and several smaller ones. The design is very detailed. The pin has the usual c-clasp for the period and the large size (about 3.75 inches) is suitable for its use as a sash pin.
The sash pin is unmarked.

It's Edwardian - a rivet hinge is a 20th Century invention. A lovely piece of work.
