I received this as a gift. My mom purchased from an estate sale. I am trying to identify this marking to determine care and use for this pot. Any comments would be very much appreciated!

Looks like a Kokopelli when you rotate it
I had someone in a group I belong to say the same. My apologies for it being the wrong direction. My husband took the photos for me and for some reason they didn't upload in the correct orientation.
Sorry, couldn’t find anything on the mark. Looks fairly new, or maybe just unused. Someone told me on CW that if it’s wheel thrown, it is not Native American, as they only make molded pieces
Thank you so much for your help :)
It's got me puzzled billysitch...is that like bass ackwards??? your name I mean? I don't intend that in a mean way either, I think it's cute if it is! It looks like a dutch oven to me. But I can't tell what the symbol is either.
You got me. Very clever. Most people just skip over it. I agree dutch oven all the way. The stamp is what has me perplexed. I have talked with a few people that told me it can only be used in the oven. But looking at the piece I don't even want to use it!
