Should I wash out the bottles?

I used to like all the bottles I dug up very clean. So I got a tip and cleaned them out with muriatic acid which I was able to buy in at least a quart back then. If you clean them it does not decrease the value but muriatic acid is extrememly dangerous to work with ! This bottle is a treasure !

Nice bottle. I always clean out my bottles. There are many different methods and cleaners to use. Research a few. Soap & water is the easiest if the inside is just a little dirt. You can look up bottle brushes to help clean the inside.
