I was lucky to get this Murano glass bird at the flea market on Sunday along with a few more interesting items.The bird is 12 inches tall and had nice pleasing colors and still has the sticker on the bottom and in perfect condition as well.

Such a nice bird Junkman! I've seldom, if ever, seen one of these birds - on this style pedestal and the tail up - having an elongated neck. Typically when the bird has an elongated neck the artist is depicting a swan or a goose and has a short tail. Conversely, the ones with their tails upright are usually pheasants. Yours however, has a combination of both. And for only $10? Well bought!
