FLANNEL TOBACCO INSERTS/PREMIUMS

One of my favorite collectibles are food product or tobacco inserts/premiums. Besides having plastic coins both sport and non sport premiums food product ( potato chips, jello etc. ) I came across some flannel tobacco company flags of the world and Native American inserts that date from around 1906 to possibly the beginning of ww1 when they ceased. These flannels were popular with young and old collectors. Ladies enjoyed the fine assortment of colors and they made quilts, curtins and other items from the premiums.
The flannels vary in sizes from as small as 5" wide by 3 1/2" high
8 1/2" w by 6" h to one I have which is 15" w by 11" high. There may also be other sizes that were also produced. The flannels were either inserted directly into the tobacco packs on the outside of packs and on the outside of tobacco tins for the bigger ones. The flannels are very colorful with some of the older flags from some countries different to the modern flags of today .
