This guitar has no markings that I could find about maker. Does anyone have any information to help me determine the age/place of manufacture/luthier?
40" x 14-1/4" (at widest point)
I believe Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, and spruce top. Inlay around sound hole, top and head. Rosewood fretboard. 2" at nut. Back is bowl-shaped with body width from 4" at base and 3-1/2" at top of body.
Seems to have been design with a noticeable relief with 7mm at 12th fret. Top has fan bracing (8 braces).
Thank you for any info or leads.
The ring you see is a mirror I was using to inspect the interior.
This looks like a Mexican made guitar, it is a very well made guitar from very good selected wood.
I have a similar one but mine is not in as good of a shape as yours
Mine does not have a sticker inside either! I bought mine this year from a guy in Las Vegas, he told me it is a Mexican Mariachi, but when I checked Mariachi guitars online, they don't look anything like the classical I bought!
I am going to sand mine down and refinish it.
You're looking at $600.00 for a guitar like this in a great shape, it is si,ilar to the Fransisco Navarro concert guitars made in Mexico.
That's cool grain on the back, I love it!
