Trying to find out Year, on side it Reads= Progress Refrigerator Co. Louisville KY.. While growing up, I would talk to my neighbor, and he would be using this Cooler on Fishing trips. I told him I wanted this. And he asked What for ?, I told him I just Liked the way it Looked.Well In his passing he left me the cooler. our talk was over 40 years ago. Just trying to find out how old, and any thing I can learn about cooler that had caught my eye at 13 years old.

    Thanks John.

Ray responded to my post about the same cooler you have. He told me it from the 1950's.
I found mine this past week and yours is the third I have found on the internet. I have done searches and found others, but not like the one's we have.
It's nice that he left it to you. That is very cool.

I figured it out, It is a Progress Refrigerator, model A55, made in 1955.
