This one features the Dance Pavilion which is the only building left of the old village. Currently there is a Mexican Restaurant inside along with a shop specializing in bears (not real ones). It is the tall spire on the right half behind the building in the foreground.
All the other little towns kept their old buildings which is good for them. Destroying the old buildings seemsed a good idea at the time but today not so much.

Look at all that American Steel in the parking lot! What a great time period.
Thank you very much EJW-54. An excellent era indeed.

Thank you SEAN68.
Hey!!! That looks familiar! Is the guy that carves the wildlife with a chainsaw still up there? I stayed up there for a bit when all the trees were infested and that guy did some amazing work. Do you have any photos of that?
Thank you very much shareurpassion. There was a guy who did chainsaw art on the 18, the road that goes across the rim but he has gone elsewhere. I am sure there are a few others. I should take photos of the bears and other such things up here. I have a 4 foot bear myself.
Thank you
