I got this 1880 vanity from an antique dealer. It has the original mirror. Nice hand carved dove tails. And hand carved wooden wheel casters.. chair is as old. . But not original chair. They have made many of these that date later. This has the very old soft wood. And its vaneer. Thanks for looking!

In my opinion the dating is off a little-- this is not 19th century. The dovetails are machined and the piece would date from the very late 1st quarter to the second quarter, 20th century-- almost an antique.

Has original hard ware nails and screws.and the mirror has that old mirror tint to it. I have had debates over age. Any input is great! Thanks!
The dove tails look very badly matched to be machined? How can you say positively that they were machined? I'd be very careful walking around and about there, those wires on the floor look like trip traps.
The wires are to the lamps on the vanity. I unplugged them because i posted them as well!
Yes this is late 20's to sometime in 30's, possibly early 30's/ totally out of design for the 1880's. The mirror also shows it to be a piece from about 1927 on.
