Hello everyone, It's been sometime since I posted. Found this quill holder today and thought I would share. It's circa 1870 Staffordshire with damage to one of the swans tail but overall not in bad shape for the age. Have to start looking for holes in porcelain because I missed this one at first glance. Lol Hope you like it and thanks for taking the time!

These only hold quills/pens, so I don't know why these are referred to as inkwells as there is no place for a liner and ink.

      Very nice!

Thanks Bonnie, I saw that it was referred to as a ink well / quill holder in some descriptions. I will start looking for real inkwell now as they can be quite collectable.
