I got this awhile back at a flee market. . Guy wanted $5 and i didn't really want to give him that. Said his wife used it to hold a candle. . But i really liked it so much. .and could use it for jewelry. I bought it. .and very glad i did. Anyone know anything about this or where it may have came from or used for? Thanks!

Thank you do much! I would of guessed india. My bowl is not near that size. Its 3.75 inchs around. I found one like it for sale on ebay for $125..
