I was cleaning out my mothers house, and found these in a box.
From what I have seen they look like they are 1940's vintage.
Not sure what to do with them. Are they worth anything?

They look to be in great condition and are very desirable , find many online ; start there for pricing . Someone restoring an older home would love them or even just decorating with vintage in their homes . I love pic #2 , that light green is beautiful ; very nice shades .
LovelyPat, thank you for your thoughts. I have only been able to find one so far online to compare to (The blue one) I'll have to keep searching. They are in great condition and would love to see them go to a older home that is being restored. Yes, I agree, the green one is beautiful. Any idea who manufactured these style of shades? Were there only a few manufactures of these, or were there many companies producing them at that time? I know that the Phoenix Glass Co. were known for their Art Deco Domes. (I have a shade that resembles their style. Haven't posted a pic of it yet.
These soft colours were popular from the 1930s onward.
Thanks for the info SpiritBear.
They aren't worth anything. I will pay for shipping to me!
Ha ha! :-) Celiene!
Google: vintage glass ceiling light shade chain
You will find many. You need chains to hang them! I love them.
Thanks Celiene. Wow! There are so many beautiful shades out there.
I have found another identical blue one, but haven't been able to find anything that resembles the green one, or the white one (clear bumpy bottom) yet.
I know the others are called 3 chain, would the other be called ? (single hole mount?
