Great Birdhouse but by whom

My mom bought this big birdhouse for my dad for their 25th anniversary. It was done by an aritst but I can't figure out who he or she is. Was this mass produced? Were they local to Kansas City? They are now both gone and I know very little about the item but it's beautiful and was meant for display only, not to be used as an actual home for birds. Any info is appreciated. The one picture is the name written on the back but so far I have had zero luck. Thanks.
