    the bottom is marked with 'PCT Hand-decorated in Hong Kong' and 'Japanese Porcelain Ware' and the vase is an obvious Chinese design. my guess is that it's mid-century. what do you think? any idea what the marks on the side say?

      There was over one hundred painting studios in Hong Kong in the 60s/70s and they painted on both Chinese and Japanese blanks. Sometimes the paintings were special orders requested on a Japanese shape.
      I think the P.C.T. would have been the trading agent.
      Maybe the text is a poem? dedication?
