The wife and I just recently moved to Indiana. While prepping the house to move in we came across a wooden box of old marbles.Thinking not to much about it we set it aside. Why I don't know but one day I picked up the marble box and started looking thru it as playing marbles as a youngster it was one of my favorite games. At the bottom box was this old and tarnished chauffeurs badge dated 1941. I cleaned it up and begin wondering who it might have belonged to. Could it be a relative of the people we bought the house from or just something they found? Being of a curious nature I set upon trying to find out who it might have belonged to.
That led me to this site thinking that maybe a collector might be able to help out. Sorry for the fuzzy picture but I don't own the type of camera to take a clear close-up shot The badge is from Indiana, dated 1941 with the numbers 114640. Any help or suggestions where to look would be greatly appreciated. The badge has no connection with me or my family but if I could find the family it belonged to I could return it.
