I liked this has soon as I saw it, it was last Sunday in a cold wet damp Multi Story car park.

A small round pin dish with Building scenes and other decoration.

Pairpoint Cape Cod MA, USA and Amercia's oldest glassworks. To be honest I've never considered USA good for Glass but I'm sure your USA promoters of Glassware will advise what to look for in the quality glass range.

    I like Bristol blue glass.

"Fund-raiser to help restore bell tower

      ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
MARION -- The Preserving Marion's Traditions Capital Campaign Committee is planning a fund-raiser to be held in a waterfront home on Allen's Point Road overlooking Sippican Harbor.

The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18; tickets are $25 per person and will include appetizers provided by Harriet's Outback Catering and the Encore Cafe. Liberty Liquors of Buzzards Bay will donate wine for a wine tasting. Truman Terrill will play piano.

The campaign has been raising funds to restore the bell tower of the First Congregational Church of Marion. The landmark is in disrepair and the structure of the church is in danger.

The church has filed nomination papers with the Massachusetts Historical Commission to be placed in the National Registry of Historic Places, along with filings for the Congregational Chapel and Minister's Rock on Oakdale Avenue. These properties, plus Bird Island Light, would give Marion four properties on the registry.

The campaign committee held an inaugural dinner at Tabor Academy in March, and many generous donations have been made. However, the amount needed to begin work on the bell tower and the church building next spring has not yet been raised, organizers said.

Because the church has a relatively small congregation and is at the center of the community, the campaign has enlisted donors from outside the congregation to help save the bell tower. The church is known for being the site of weddings, funerals and funeral receptions for all people in the area, even if they are not members.

The Evening by the Sea has been planned to thank those who have donated and encourage others to do so.

Tickets can be purchased at the Bookstall in Marion or by calling the church office at (508) 748-1053 from 9 to noon weekdays."
