    Can't locate makers any help would be appreciated old spoon is it plated or coin silver? I can not find any info on this maker thanks

      Nice! You wouldn't find the maker in that book, since Palmer& Bachelder's were from Boston, Mass. (Washington Street). Probably from around 1850. The factory shut down in 1872. No other marks? Could be coin silver, i.e. 90%. Hard to tell without a stamp.
