Good afternoon everyone,
This little forklift is from my childhood. It brings back fond memories of my young years playing for hours with it. I have to thank my grandmother for keeping this for me over the years.
The forklift is probably from the mid 50's to early 1960's. The earlier forklift had gray tires this one has the black tires. There were different color combinations available in Europe. I believe the orange body and green forks was the most common in North America. As much as I like toys nothing compares to having an original childhood toy. I will pass it on to my son one day when I'm finished playing with it.

This is too cool! I've never seen a toy fork truck until now. So awesome that you still have this after all these years.
Hi Scott. My grandmother stored a small collection of my childhood toys away for me and nobody ever touched them. She was a beautiful lady. I was reading your great write up about the family history of your Elgin pocket watch. Like my forklift your watch holds onto many great memories!! Thank you for stopping by always appreciated.
