Will you give me information please I have no knowledge but was drawn to these.
Two sisters were moving and sold these and a desk I missed.
They said they belonged to their great grandmother 1920's and came from a storage.
I paid $75- each and another $70- to pick them up.

    Thank you

Some of the questions I have are if you can tell me the style, age, wood, ect.
Anything would be helpful I haven't been able yet to ID it. If you need more or others pictures let me know.
      Thank you

From what I see, I would say you are on track with the dating. I would put them in the 2nd quarter, 20th century.

They both look to be in good shape. I am not sure on the dark wood based on the photos, but the lighter lower portion is a maple veneer.

      Thanks so much Scott!

I agree 100% with Scott. They are from the early 1930's. That is a maple veneer that was very popular at the time. The darker wood looks like walnut.

      Thank you @Ritamsg
Would you be kind enough to tell me what you think.
Should the top drawer design be together or on opposite corners?

I think they're supposed to meet together in the middle. How do the drawers feel in your hand when you slide them in and out? Do they slide easier when the detail is in the middle?
