Today I'd like to share something entirely different from what I've posted so far.
I've seen this plate on an auction site and had a strong feeling that I must touch it and see at close range. In the meantime I was looking for something similar in the net and I've found a Canadian artist Marie Bohm who creats in the same spirit.Yet I don't think the plate is her work.
It seems to be more chaotic and less deliberate although it has much from
glass techniques like some irisation or threading .
I wasn't in fusion glass and this is something new for me but I realised it's quite interesting.
I also must admit it was hard to take good photos to show its relish.
Bet they look strange on a table.
Yes, it's rather oddity but I don't use it as a kitchenware?
Very sculptural! Cool find!
Like you, fused glass is not my thing, but I would happily have this Ivonne.
Art, just art.
Thank you everyone for the loves and likes:)
I'm glad you have found it interesting.
beyemvey - you captured the substance of the thing !
Karen - I can't resist the feeling that it is an art school student's work ...
Mary - yes,it's the same item and you couldn't choose better how to use it.I quite often find bird eggs in the garden and in the forest. All of them will drift to it.
Yes,it creats such optical tricks!
