Hello Everyone, 01-19-2017, 10:30 PM
I have this Bronze for few years now, this is what i believe a museum piece, native art work are usual in smaller scale, and most likely not in Bronze, i am thinking this could be a commissioned piece for a special person or occasion, i research it without success, i really enjoy the way the artist make this so creepy, we can just imagine the struggle of the inuit couple in this situation when a Polar bear take your baby.
Mother on the ground, the Father grab is bone knife and stab the bear on the back, the bear reacted by pulling is head back and raise is claw, absolutely terrifying scene.
This piece stand 13 inch tall, 9.25 inch wide, 8.25 inch deep.
Many Thanks Everyone for Viewing.

I have a soapstone version of this exact piece given to me by my parents. It was broken by movers and I’m trying to find a value for it for insurance. Any ideas?
