In the field of micro mosaics I've given my addiction somewhat habituated. But the cross that I can acquire now is really extraordinary. It's not just in nearly perfect condition with beautiful images of five buildings in Rome in the middle two doves decorated with flowers. But there are the large dimensions: Whopping 15.7 x 9.4 " (40 x 24 cm). without bail. To compare beside my little crusific with dimensions 5.5 x 3.1 "(14 x 8 cm.)
Have any of you ever seen a cross of such dimensions?
It certainly was not cheap to buy but I wonder what it could be really worth. Does anyone have an idea?
Marga, just realise the size... 40 cm!!! You got a really striking piece :-)
I found a similar, same size, for you to see...:
