Chrysanthemum Bowl

Vintage china/porcelain serving bowl. 9", 2 1/2" deep. Chrysanthemum pattern. Posting it because I just love this bowl because I'm partial to Chrysanthemums and you see so many variations of Rose patterns on so much of this stuff. The silver edging adds interest. I thought I had a photo of the mark but it simply says Bavaria on the bottom, that's all. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Question, how do you tell the difference between china and porcelain? Know anything about this pattern or style?
