Found this console Chippendale style claw and ball table by the side of the road. It was in rough shape but it has nice bones. AFter some research, I found that it was made circa 1900 in Wisconsin. It originally extended to accept several leaves, but these were missing. The table is mahogany with a veneer top and flame mahogany along the table's apron. I refinished the piece and the grain just pops!
Always a very satisfying feeling restoring an abondoned piece to it's original beauty. Great job!!
