This is a Wood Case Mantel Clock. The style is popularly known as Gingerbread Clocks, or Kitchen Clocks.

Seth Thomas offered several "Series" model lines. Their "City" and "Metal" series are two examples.

Your clock is from their "Giant" series and this one is called the "Giants No. 3" from circa 1904. It was made in Golden Oak only. Not sure why they called this series "Giant". They were about 2 inches taller than most of their Gingerbread clocks so perhaps that's why? Who knows.

Hope that solves your mystery. If so please indicate "Mystery Solved" in your listing. Thanks for sharing your Seth Thomas pick with us.

BTW, Welcome to Collectors Weekly. LOTS to see here.

Found some other examples of clocks in this line:

      Giant No. 1: https://p2.liveauctioneers.com/289/54150/26271340_1_l.jpg
      Giant No. 2: https://p2.liveauctioneers.com/289/54150/26270524_1_x.jpg
      Giant No. 3: https://p2.liveauctioneers.com/289/54150/26271064_1_l.jpg

It looks like they were a pretty popular model for Seth Thomas. Do an Internet Search on the name and I'm sure you'll find additional examples.

These types of clocks usually clean up pretty nice. Once the wood is clean I like apply a little Lemon Oil and Bee's Wax. It's easy to apply to all the little nooks and crannies. It leaves a nice finish and doesn't leave wax deposits in the wood ornamentation.

Be careful with the inside of the glass tablet. The century-old stenciling is easily lost.
