I didn't find any of these in the internet or any references to them. How did you come across it?

The problem is, that date, does not line up with Esso's, or even Standard Oil's founding date. It was a year that they had Put a Tiger in You Tank Contests around the World. They gave out Tiger Cards and in Canada, you could win a color TV. Perhaps it was a prize for that promotion.

My friend is an Italian. When he was a boy and the family would go get petrol the attendant would punch a hole in a card. They must have sent in a bunch of cards cause the key chain how you see it came in the mail.
