    This basket was from a ladies collection. The outside is covered with what I can only describe as real thick leaves. The second photo is of the inside.

      Barkcloth. This is from the Pacific Islands somewhere. The Bottom is palm leaves.

      The material is coco bark fiber and palm leaves, from the Philippines. No tribe involved. These are exported by the millions, sold through florist supply outlets, craft shops, and wholesalers.
