I won this on eBay almost three years ago. I collect fountain pens and this is my grail pen (Although it's not grail anymore as it's in my possession and not an elusive dream!) It's a wet writer and I usually use Montblanc's Leonardo da Vinci Red Chalk, which goes well with the pen's color.
The brand is Bayard and from France. Their logo, as seen on the lever and on the 18 carat nib, is a pair of crossed nibs with a P and F on either side for Panici Freres. The barrel is hard red rubber in pristine condition for its age as many of these hard rubber pen barrels are cracked and faded from exposure to the elements. The clip is silver.
