The bottle is Approximately 12" tall, 10 in diameter, and the neck is approximately 3" high it stands crooked and it also is not completely round because the bottle had flat areas around it.
I cannot find a make in the bottle and was found around the eastern shore in Virginia. I hoping to find out more info on this item. Thank you!
It is a wine bottle with 'laid on ring' or 'string' lip. Hand-blown into a mold. While typically English, they were also made here in America (as you're in Virginia, it likely is imported from England).
Dates anywhere from the American Civil War to 1920s.
