This is the only engraving that I have come across with this type of image of what appears to be someone trying to demonstrate and sell a puppet doll to the other person , but Thanks to mp.kunst I know now what the print actually reads and that these two people are children, this is such a fabulous image, a very nice piece of art

The writing is in Dutch and French. It says: Two children from North-Holland.
North-Holland is a province in The Netherlands.
Underneath is written a name that I cannot decipher and that print was made in Amsterdam.
I found the same print and it seems that they wear the traditional clothes are from the city of Zaandam in Holland and it is 17th century.
Zaandam is in the province of North-Holland.

The name I couldn't decipher is E (Evert) Maaskamp.

Evert Maaskamp (Vollenhove 1769 - Amsterdam, January 31, 1834) was publisher, book and print dealer from 1800 to 1834 in Amsterdam. There are hundreds of products preserved by his hand. Besides publications geographical and topographical maps and prints he gave lavishly illustrated print out, among them typical images of Dutch in costumes.
