I came across a Barbie in my local thrift store and thought she could be a bit special, she appears to have the bubble cut hair but light and she has the pink lips, she is wearing a black swim suit any ideas about her would be great she is marked , but I'm not sure where she falls in the Barbie history timeline there are so many variables.
Bubblecut Barbie dates 1962. What is marked on her bottom ? It helps date her better and what color is her eyeliner I can't see on photo . GREAT find wow ! She is wearing the solid Black suit put out in 1962 . The 1958 date is not year produced they used that date for many years .
Bubblecuts were made between 1961 and 1967. Some had narrow faces, others fuller faces. This one has a narrow face.

Look at her markings
In 1963, Mattel had brought out the Midge doll, and the new torso for all the dolls now had "Midge" above the "Barbie" logo on the right derriere.
