Northwood Carnival Collection and more

We've been collecting carnival glass for years, this is one display we have of mostly all Northwood Grape and Cable, Ribbed and Many Fruits. When much younger began collecting the Indiana Glass Harvest Grape, had almost all of it, then had to downsize and sold every piece. Told my spouse, one day I'll replace it with the real stuff. Well, today the northwood amethyst sweet meat compote arrived just in time for our 28th anniversary. My spouse is in tears, it is the most beautiful piece I've seen, I purchased the breakfast set as a whole recently also for a gift. The punch bowl is mosser. Purchased on ebay, was shipped in two seperate bathroom commode boxes, the platter, then the bowl and 24 cups, i'm sure combined it weighted 50lbs or more, our mailman was so frustrated with us that buying spree with all the deliveries. This year we've been purchasing vintage quilts, he's equally as mad. "going postal", now I understand the term.
