This man's name is call jiang tai gong, a militarist strategist. The olden chinese saying goes something like "jiang tai gong goes fishing, the willing parties bite the bait"
Sounds weird in English but it sounds really poetic when said in mandarin
Beneath the porcelain is inscribed "Wan jiang. China". Wanjiang is a district of Guangdong province around the 1970's.
The hole in the last pic is found in older porcelains which is used by the artist to shape the figurine.
Enjoy mr jiang tai gong my friends. Meanwhile its back to spring cleaning for me!
