The City of London Poll Book for 1837 lists a John Wright, vintner, at 124 Ratcliff Highway, so I expect it was from him. "I"s and "J"s were often used interchangeably at that time.
124 Ratcliff Highway London (later renamed to St. George Street) was a pub called the White Swan. John Wright was the landlord from the 1830s to the 1850s
dating this saltglazed flagon/jug to this period
Charles Dickens Jr. described it in his 1879 Dictionary of London as "once the uproarious rendezvous of half the tramps and thieves of London".
