Well, it's about 12.5" tall and 6" diameter at the base and 3.5" diameter at the opening, so it has quite a presence. The shape is floriform, similar to a bud about to open. The lip is ground and there is no pontil mark on the bottom. The base glass fades from a green oil spot to a deep ruby red near the top. As is frequently the case with the some of nicest Rindskopf, the artisan twisted the vase, which allows it to catch the light and play tricks with the iridescence of purples and golds. In addition, this one has a thumb print optical pattern (or coin dot if you prefer) as evident in the 3rd photo which is back lit. c. 1900 +/-
