Who am I?

Hi there,

I am trying to find out more about this sweet old teddy. He is a bit battered and looks like he has been re-stitched many times and I think he may have his body back to front. He has glass eyes. A leather? Stitched nose. He is black and cream. He has a hump at the front. He has a hard crunchy wood/straw filling. What looks like pink felt & possibly pink silk pads. There is what looks like a wood? Neck joint and looks like there were other joints in his other limbs. He is rather heavy. If he has a growler it is not functional. I picked him up at auction, along with another bear, both for £1 and couldn't resist his charms.

I would really appreciate any feedback in identifying this bear and how old he could be.
