According to my British Art Glass book this interesting rose bowl was likely made by Thomas Webb. I have found similar serpents and similar shape bowls that lead me to believe that Webb is a likely manufacturer. I think there is also a slim chance that it could be Bohemian, possibly Harrach?
The bowl measures a little over 4" tall, and 6" wide.
beautiful!

Nice piece!
Thanks for the link yesterdayglass. Looks like a match. I thought it was almost certainly Webb. What is interesting is that I recently picked up a bowl and underplate that matches the cranberry and gold foil technique in that example. I will post later tonight.
I didn't think Harrach but I thought I would toss the possibility out there
Yes. You must be looking at the same book that I was. Lots of known bohemian pieces.
You may please have a look onto a post by LoetzBuddies 3 years ago, same bowl decorated with gold foil inclusions, detailed Research, with reference to the Bristol Blue Glass Museum, made by P.R.F.D'Humy Aurora Glass Co
I have something similar in blue which I feel could be French.
