vaselineal…
(88 items)
This massive pink and vaseline (uranium) satin vase has a peacock or fish eye pattern. It is most certainly Bohemian. A fellow collector suggested that this may be a product of Harrach. I can't seem to find any leads in any of my books. The enemeled decoration appears to be a European Woodock and foliage.
The vase measures 12" in height and 7" at it's widest point. It is quite large.
I do think it could be Harrach; the quality of the enamel work is very high, and the motif around the rim is very typical of them, as well. It is really a beautiful piece!
