In the U.K. Pie-eyed means really, really drunk so it amused me when I found out this was what they were called, however, the 3rd Mickey is skinny but still called fat ? And the 4th Mickey came with purple hands hmmmmmm. Love Minnie and her flower pot hat. Two of them came squashed into a Coffin box together !! Lol x

I have a minnie purple hand alarm clock and when I saw your minnie watches with the purple gloves they reminded me of the clock:)) I was completely unaware that there is a mystery about them. Always love to read and learn about all the history behind mickey, minnie and the rest of the Disney character timepieces posted by fellow CW members!!

The "Skinny" is a later model.... the first issue was the Fatboy with no tread on shoe, second has tread and finally the Skinny with tread...... Now for the fun part, either of the models came with Red, orange or purple hands....depending on color of strap

I should add.... The Bradley Time Mickeys are very diverse in size, shape and graphics. Due to the falling interest Mickey watches in the general market in the early 1970's.Bradley made several models and graphics to rekindle. Where as before when Ingersoll had the rights to produce, they stuck with a just a few examples, might be why the relinquish the contract in 1971

Oh cool so I have all three tread types in my collection but no red hands ha ha. This info is so great to learn thank you Kerry. Big thanx to officialfuel, SEAN68, Mickeys magic, jscott0363, roddyq, Vonsboy, ttomtucker and Efesgirl. CW is great x

Just a touch more trivia about Bradley Pie-eye Mickey's........Before making a production run, there was a graphic print made for approval, then a proto-type watch was produced, if any changes were desired, again the process started over until final approval was set for production.....Long story short, I have a "Skinny" proto that didn't make the grade..... It is very similar to these, but dial markers were different font style and as a proto, the "Bradley isn't on the dial

I have misspoke....the proto Bradley I have is the standard Mickey....Then again I might have the pie-eye too, but located the other first, lol

LOL, I probably don't have them all, but most of them, pre 1985, I started getting picky after that, to many different example made after that. That sounds about right.....lol
