Hello Fellow Collectors and Visitors. Today I thought I'd share a little information about the Blue Box Mickey Mouse Watches. First I have to tell you, the watch & box graphics remain the same for the entire 1935-37 run with a small change in price(With one exception, and I'll save that for later post). In the fall of 1937, the retail price went from $2.95 to $3.25. The insert inside that held the watch was printed with the price. When the price changed, older inserts were retrofitted with a sticker over the old price. When all the "Old Stock" was used the newer printed inserts were used. There for a small number of the sticker inserts were used in the Fall of 1937.Here are all three inserts, the first photo showing the sticker.

Hey Kerry nice to know from the box of knowledge. I really cherish what I learn from you. I have 1 each of the 2.95 and 3.25 boxes and 2 boxes that looks like someone has taken off the stickers but there is no 2.95 price where the sticker would have covered it. And I have 2 0f I think the 39 boxes with rectangle cases that say New and both have no price but 1 has a square die cut tab where the price would be and the other does not. The boxes that look like the stickers were taken off have a definite color difference of fading you can see, the blue that would be under the sticker is brighter than the rest of the insert. what do you think?
